I can't believe it's been 20 years since the release of Swimsuit Issue.  The album cover features my great grandparents on the beach in Asbury Park (or is it Atlantic City) circa 1918.  The back features my grandfather lifeguarding in front of Jenkinson's at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.  We recorded this album on ADATs in Erv's basement in Piscataway, NJ with several tracks recorded at my parents in Bay Head, NJ.  It was mixed on a Mackie 16 channel board with limited outboard gear and resources.  I thought I would save a bundle by doing it myself, but the label just had no more in the bank for us.  Mastered by Vic Anisini at Sony NY, he had also done the Bob Dylan boxed set and Byrd's anthology stuff.
